Scripture Reading • Psalm 1

~ Suggested Prayer ~

Father, we pray that you would open our eyes to the treasure that is Your word. Help us to begin to see it as a precious diamond that is available to us today. Help us to mine for your wisdom, to hunger and thirst for righteousness, to develop a taste for the things that please You, and a distaste for things are offensive to you. Help us today to grow in wisdom. Give us grace to repent of the sins we have grown accustomed to. By Your Spirit, we pray that You would bless your church today, wherever Your people are gathered.

We pause to pray for those among us who don’t know Jesus ______. We ask that you would draw them to you, and that you would give us opportunities to share the hope that we have in Jesus, and how they can have it too. We pray for those we know who are struggling today. We pray for peace and comfort. We pray for those among us who are sick. We pray for their healing, whether it be directly from your hand, or through the hand of doctors, who you also made. We pray for our missionaries around the world. Today we pray that you would renew their calling and their joy in walking with you. We pray all of this in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

~  ANNOUNCEMENTS  ~

Masks at Church

Please continue to wear a mask as we open up.

We have been blessed to be able to open for in-person worship while many churches around us have stayed closed. We plan to open up for in-person Sunday Morning Bible Studies and to offer communion this Sunday, so please remember to wear a mask. We have people who attend (including children) who are immunocompromised, and we want to be welcoming to everyone. We understand there are medical exceptions to not wear a mask, but if you are able, please do. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
